Foodbank vouchers
Our foodbank uses a voucher referral system. This means that certain organisations can issue their customers with a foodbank voucher, which can be exchanged for 3-days of emergency food.
How to get a foodbank voucher
All kinds of different agencies can offer you a foodbank voucher while they’re helping you with your problems like debt, housing, benefits or finding work.
If you have run out of money and food, you could ask someone like your housing officer, social worker or RISE worker for a foodbank voucher.
You can also visit Ealing Community Hubs. The hubs can offer a voucher up to three times.
If you’d prefer to call an advisor, Help through Hardship can give you a foodbank voucher on 0808 208 2138. It is a very busy telephone number so you may have to call back a few times before you get through.
Once you have a foodbank voucher, you can exchange the voucher for 3 days of emergency food at your nearest foodbank centre.
