Ealing Foodbank May News
End of year stats
If you follow us on social media, you will know that for the year April 2021 – March 2022, Ealing Foodbank was the busiest Trussell foodbank in Greater London. While our busy-ness is nothing to be proud of, we are immensely grateful to our volunteers and those who donate food. Thank you for you generosity; we could not have made it this far without your amazing support. We have big plans for the future to continue to offer food to our clients, but also to expand the breadth of the help that we can offer clients. We hope you’ll continue to support us as we work towards ending hunger, but also as we work towards ending deprivation in the borough of Ealing.
School Stars
We have been incredibly fortunate to receive some amazing help from some of our youngest supporters. Our biggest thanks to Elthorne Park High School, ‘Devonshire’ class at Little Ealing Primary School, Andre Malraux, Grange Primary and West Acton Primary. You are all super stars!
If you would like to fundraise for the foodbank at your school or nursery, we would love to partner with you. Let us know if there’s any way that we can help. We’re also happy to come to class lessons, school assemblies or other school events. Get in touch with us if you’d like more information.
Hanwell Saturday Closure
We’ll be closed on Saturday 7 May due to St Mellitus being used as a venue for the Hanwell Hootie. Clients can attend either Greenford (Monday) or Acton (Friday) instead. Check our our locations page for exact addresses and opening times.
